The single most important thing for getting a great cup of coffee out of your capsule is the coffee you choose to use in it.
The best coffee for your capsules
Evergreen and SHB Caffé decided to merge their strengths to offer coffee ground to suit perfectly the Evergreen Capsules.
SHB Caffé is an international roaster present in America and Europe which has been sourcing and roasting coffee for more than 30 years. Most importantly, they share with Evergreen the same vision of consuming coffee in a way that is respectful of our planet and the local communities from the countries the coffee is from.
Their roaster in chief Pablo Contreras, a wizard of coffee, travels himself to the plantations and even organise trips to discover the behind-the-scenes of the world of coffee. Pablo grew up in a family coffee plantation located in the Soconuscan region in Chiapas, Mexico. He perfected over the years his mastering of the art of coffee, and even received the national Atam-Tzual Food Technology Award for his works on Coffee. Pablo is also a certified Q Grader and Q Processing expert.
We at Evergreen strongly believe in SHB's expertise and commitment to deliver a coffee of the highest standards, in terms of both taste and eco-friendliness.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is your coffee the best for reusable capsules?
Coffee that is used in Nespresso© pods and other single-use capsules is designed to work for those capsules. If you were to put any random coffee in them, you would not get the same taste. After testing all sorts of different roasts and grinds in a huge variety of combinations, we have come up with what we believe is the perfect coffee for our capsules.
How many cups of coffee do you get in one bag?
In one of our coffee bags, you get 250 grams of coffee, ie 50 cups of coffee. You get a maximum of about 25 cups of coffee for the same price from Nespresso and other single-use capsule companies. That’s a 50% saving on every cup!
Is your coffee Fairtrade certified?
Where is your coffee roasted?
Our coffee is roasted by Pablo Contreras in Barcelona.
In which countries is the Evergreen coffee currently available?
For now, our coffee is only available in Spain, Germany, France, the UK, Italy, The Netherlands, Austria, Luxembourg and Belgium as we want to make sure we can have the coffee delivered in max 3-5 days. However, we will soon expand worldwide so if you are interested please leave us your email here and we will contact you as soon as we are ready:
How long is the subscription plan period and can I cancel it anytime?
The subscription plan lasts for a year. Yes you can cancel it anytime but you need to give us a 2 months notice. This is because once we get your subscription, we will block stocks for you so that we are able to offer you the coffee at a discount compared to the pay-as-you-go option.
Can the coffee ground be used for other types of coffee brewers?
Yes, the coffee can also be used in a Moka to enjoy it differently.
